Atlanta History Center

Not only is it a museum, it's also home to 30 acres of gardens, civil war exhibits and the county's most extensive collection of Southern History and is the largest museum in the Southeast. Other interesting attractions are two historic houses including Swan House and Tullie Smith farm; Centennial Olympic Games Museum; historic gardens; and the Kenan Research Center. Throughout the year, enjoy lecture series with award-winning authors, toddler programs, homeschool days,summer camps, music series, annual festivals such as Sheep to Shawl and much more.
