The Street
In the outskirts of Buenos Aires, a group of men from the “porteños” suburbs meet under a dimmed candlelight.

At the first sound of a distant melody, Talia appears, a woman looking for a partner to with whom to dance the tango. She hopes to use the tango to get out of her dismal surroundings and to move her ahead in the world.

Franco stands there and he knows that her deepest wish is to dance. He walks towards her and takes her by her waist and both begin to dance. As they dance, the rhythm intensifies and the movements become more fiery and powerful.

The other men dance among themselves, as is the tradition of the Tango art form. As new women begin to appear, the men and women partner off; in this way, the tango is introduced
in neighborhoods and becomes a popular dance.

The Ballroom
Due to the tango’s popularity, a ballroom opens for the neighborhood in the civic center.

Talía and Franco usually go to the same place and are always welcome since they always participate in the ballroom’s tango contest, expressing their passion as they move smoothly across the dance floor. All partners dance with expression and emotion, enjoying the tango in its fullest.

As the time passes, they begin to realize that the tango is becoming a dance spectacle.

The City
As time passed and the tango was danced in more and more ballrooms, its popularity reached new heights and youngsters joined the adults in the phenomenon. Contests began to develop to select the best tango couple.

Talía and Franco also took part in such a contest. Their expert skill in the tango art form prompted them to begin their own tango performance show.

The Theater
The show opens and Talia and Franco know that they have to make their performance magical for the audience.

They bring other couples on stage with them to create a dance spectacle. The men and women at first dance separately, and then pair off with their respective partners for the fiery grand finale.
